Project Summary

The Corner Store is a growing network of modern convenience stations across Metro Detroit with a mission to deliver more than just quick service—they aim to create a consistent, engaging experience for every customer and community they serve. We were tasked with developing a brand identity that could set them apart in the local c-store space while supporting future expansion.

The final identity is clean, flexible, and approachable. We created a bold, all-caps extended sans serif wordmark with subtle customizations for added personality. The color palette—black, white, lime green, and golden yellow—balances freshness and energy, with a gradient that adds depth and texture. The result is a simple yet striking system designed to feel fresh, modern, and welcoming—perfectly aligned with The Corner Store’s mission of continual innovation and community connection.
